| - LVAC in my opinion is the best membership gym of its type I have belonged to. It seems they have looked at their competitors and designed their concept to be one better. Here is my thoughts...
Parking - never a problem, enough spaces for everyone
Building - LVAC designs their gyms to include other convient like minded business such as nutrition shops, yougurt, tanning and MMA as an example. The facility is the largest I've seen (including 24 hr. Fitness).
Equipment - first floor is check in, offices, locker rooms, ladies workout, food, pool, spa, steam room, dry sauna and a big class room. Second floor is cardio, weights and additional class rooms. The gym boasts a lot of equipment and rarely do you have to wait to use a piece of equipment, however some of the more popular items can see some waiting.
For the most part, LVAC does a great job maintaining their equipment and keeping things clean. Their facilities are modern and even have a indoor running track so you can still get you jogging in when its 115 outside.
The one thing I do is prepay for the entire year. This ensures I will not have to worry about dues and can plan ahead for the next round, but again that works for me. They also have additional lockers in a private area for a additional fee. All in all, a good place to work out at.
