  • In a town being overrun by strip malls and McMansions, Z-Z's is a welcome and thrilling holdout. It's friendly, authentic and fun. The excellent bowling machine is a huge plus. Visit this place and you're likely to meet a few members of what's left of the blue collar workers of Lorain County. Yeah, it can be a bit too authentic at times, but it's a small price to pay for a bar like this that's utterly bereft of hipsters. Drinks are cheap, and the food is good -- especially if it's fried. An odd surprise on the menu is their specialty buffalo burger -- I guess you gotta save saturated fat points when you eat a basket full of fried vegetables.
