  • This one time, my friend was looking for a coat, and we wandered into Deluxe. The salespeople asked if they could help us, and my friend said he was looking for a coat. They showed him a few things in the $400+ price range, and he said that his budget didn't allow for that. They then laughed in his face, and said "Well then why don't you just go to Winner's? This is Queen West". It beyond rude, it was beyond insulting. It was just plain disgusting. I wanted to grab all the clothes off the racks and throw them on the floor and kick the salespeople in the shins, but I didn't. My friend and I calmly exited the store, and we have never gone back. And we never will.
