  • As usual, Del Frisco's delivers. I regularly eat at the ones in NYC and Boston. The one in Charlotte is every bit as good, if not better, actually. The decor and layout definitely beats the one in Boston. No need to get into the menu as it's pretty standard and alike the other locations. However, I do highly recommend you have the Thick Cut Bacon Au Poivre. Holy cow, this is one of the best bacon dishes I have ever had in my life, no joke. Service here is phenomenal, us usual. All the stars were aligned. Just one tiny thing bothered me and made me take away one star: it was my father's birthday celebration dinner. They were really kind and gave my Dad a greeting card signed by a number of staff. However, they did not sing him happy birthday or offer any birthday desert. We saw another table that night get sung happy birthday to and offered a small desert. I found this very bizarre, and I was somewhat disappointed, because Del Frisco's usually doesn't make slip ups like that. Oh well. So if you are there for a birthday, make sure you remind them to do what should be done for a birthday :-)
