I've dined at Olives several times & it's consistently been good....both food and service. Personally I prefer lunch over dinner. The patio seating overlooking the fountains is beautiful. I'd recommend getting there when they open for lunch if you want to sit outside. Gets packed right away.
Had the Greek salad today. The portion size was smaller than in the past and the price has gone up to $18. It was good but not something I'd pay that much for again. Plus if I were to add chicken it would have been almost a $30 salad. Crazy. My husband had the fig & prosciutto flatbread. Just the right amount of sweet and salty on a crispy thin crust. Delicious.
If this is a place you want to try better do it fast. Olives closes its doors permanently in January to make way for Spago by Wolfgang Puck.
