| - A couple of weeks ago I ordered an iced ruze latte, which if I'm not mistaken is supposed to be black tea, milk, and rose syrup. I'm new to the area and have been on the hunt for a good rose latte for a while, so I was excited to see that I could try a rose latte with a bit of a twist, being that it's made with black tea.
Unfortunately, my ruze latte had no rose flavor whatsoever. I kept sipping and stirring it throughout the afternoon to see if the flavor would show up, but I wound up disappointed with an empty cup and no rose flavor.
I tried to find an email address or something for this place so I could tell them about this experience, but didn't see anything on their website. I despise talking on the phone, especially about something confrontational like this, so I settled for direct message on Instagram, thinking I would surely get a response if they're on the up-keep with their social media. I messaged them about a week ago and haven't gotten any response.
I really want to like this place because it's cute, local, and pretty original, but because of this experience I just don't, at least not right now. I'm willing to give it another shot, but I'm really kicking myself for paying $6 for some milk and tea. Holy smokes, I could make that at home for less than $0.50. One positive is that the employees are really friendly.
