| - An unfortunate let-down as everything just seemed saturated and un-fresh, and a bit expensive for what I got. The pita and tomatoes were the winners of my combo plate, but that's a far cry from a compliment as it's the entirety of the meal I should be touting.
-Gyro meat was too strongly seasoned, overly wet with juices
-Chicken was chunky and fatty, not nicely chopped or shredded
-White sauce was alright but nothing signaturely fresh and clean
-Baklava costs $2.00 for the BITE portion I got...don't get me wrong, I don't mind the portion but TWO DOLLARS for something less than tomorrow gourmet...?! Please!
Service: Lastly, I actually entered the establishment twice and wasn't acknowledged the first time within the 2 minutes I reviewed the menu, so I went to check out another establishment. 30 minutes later I came back and it took, again, over a minute to even be greeted. I will not be back, and unfortunately, given the entire experience, I've got a less than pleasant taste in my mouth for The Halal Guys.
