Had to come into town to drop off my son at a program. Dog came with. Decided it was easier to have him at Day Camp then schlep around in 115+ degree temp.
It was an AWESOME experience. Sofia was extremely helpful the day before making the reservation. Easy to drop off. Easy to pick up. Got his report card with thoughtful comments. What a pleasure!! And best part we had a pooped out pooch for the ride home.
While we were there we made a reservation for our return trip (when we had to pick up our son). So got into town a day ahead. And. Since we were running early enough why not drop off our pup at Camp?
Called. There was space available. Dropped him off. No prob. Camp officially ends at 5:00 then the dogs go to rooms until owners come get them before 9:00. We said we'd return by 7:00
At 6:30 hubby and I wanted to grab a quick dinner. We wanted to call and be responsible and let them know we'd be late in our pick up. Hubby called. Recording said 2 minute wait. Okay. After 4 minutes into the call I now dial and hit 0. I explain I need the Camp and was transferred. 2 more minutes pass I hang up. Hubby still waiting. We wait. I call back again. At this time hubby is now 7 minutes into his wait time. I hit 0 again. I explain to the voice I don't want to wait I want to talk to someone She says one second. Hubby still waiting. At the 9 minute mark I am now speaking with someone to explain we will be late. When I hang up; the employee now finally picks up my husband's call to ask how she may help.
We pick up our dog. No report card. Nothing. Okay.
Next morning is our reservation. Friendly staff. Easy of drop off. Go to pick up. So far easy pick up. Same employee from pick up previous evening was there. Hands us our dog. I ask where his report card is. Oh? She disappears. After 5 minutes she returned with what she obviously just filled out. Nothing fun. Nothing cute. Nothing insightful about what my dog did (like last time or any other report card I've ever gotten from various locations). Im not looking for an essay. But isn't that part of the experience? Knowing what my dog was doing in Camp that I was paying for?
Sorry I was asking you to do your job.
