| - Since this place opened, I come here pretty much 3 times a week or more... honestly, it's a blessing, my boyfriend and I used to drive out to the Markham location to meet up with friends whenever we wanted a taste of Royal Number 9 (their best flavour IMO), but now? It's right around the corner!
The line ups are long, but honestly it matches on par with a lot of things in the area. The staff is really great with explaining things to people who haven't been to their stores before, and I do lament the lack of space, but honestly, that's just what you get with a lot of stores here. Which, on that topic, I'm so happy to have a new go-to place? I loved Chatime (until they discontinued the Ceylon milk tea last year), and I've been going to Share Tea (conveniently opened right beneath my building) but... nothing beats the taste of the tapioca and tea at The Alley in my mind.
It has, at least for me, gotten to the point where one girl who's there every day (main staff? owner?) recognizes me, but it's all good here. It's nice going to places and having them know your order as soon as you walk in! There's a lot of hype around the place, and I don't expect it will die down given the crowds that still slam the other locations, but hey, whatever, now that I don't have to drive out to get this... I don't care if I have to wait to get my bubble tea!
Honestly so happy this place opened.
