| - They treat appointments the same as walk ins. You will be here an average of 1.5 hrs each time you come, with about 5 min with a tech and 5 with a PA, and the rest is just waiting around. The front desk and check outs are rarely at their desk and when I told them I was having an allergic reaction to medicine given during my first visit, the front desk didn't tell the physician, and gave no advice if my symptoms got worse before the next day for my appt (glad I was able to keep breathing!!!) When I got there for my second visit to follow up with the allergic reaction, there were 4 other people w/o appts. whom got called before me and my scheduled appt time, so I left. When I finally got the bill for the 1st visit, I was charged for a pregnancy test, when I clearly told the PA that I don't have sex with men (when I called to get it corrected, the guy told me that it was standard procedures - as if they'd ever do that for a man complaining of a UTI!!!) The staff is pushy, or they ignore you - either way, it's not a good feeling. Won't be going back to them, even though they are close. I never met Dr. Gerace, and probably never will. My insurance company will be called next to dispute unnecessary billing for ridiculous tests.
