I've recently become a big fan of Heinen's, especially the SOM Center location. The produce is well kept, fresh, and has a variety not seen at your local Giant Eagle. You will also notice grocery brands not typical of a supermarket, which more times out of any, means better quality. The Meat / deli / seafood counters are wonderfully put together where prices are about in line with larger fine food offerings like a Whole Foods.
One of my favorite things about Heinen's is the local influence they portray with the items stocked. McKenzie Farms Creamery Goat Cheese, Ohio City Pasta, and their vibrant produce are just a few to mention. Granted I don't get ALL my groceries here but I do make it a habit to show up at least once every weekend to, if anything, just wander around the store.
I do agree with previous reviews, the parking lot situation is an absolute mess. Patience is key when coming to Heinen's. I am pleased to say that my 200th review belongs to Heinen's!!
