  • Where should I begin with this review...we decided to move to Nevada in March of 2018. I found what I thought was going to be a great property management company to make my transition as smooth as possible. Let me say it has been ANYTHING but smooth since I've moved here. We arrived in our new home after driving for 5 days expecting a beautiful move in ready home. Boy were we in for a surprise. There were dirty finger prints all over the light switches, crumbs in all of the cupboards and pantry, dead flies in all of the window tracks, an inch of dust on our ceiling fan, dirt on the floors, and mold all over the shower tracks. Along with the house being absolutely disgusting a number of things were broken or not working. We had no central air, our oven didn't work, none of our windows work, a pipe was leaking in the wall, the guest bathroom toilet didn't flush, the towel racks in the guest bathroom were broken off, and the master bathroom tub has a huge crack in it. Maybe not a big deal for most but wait until you hear how you have to deal with getting these things fixed! You must create a work order for things wrong. Every time you create a work order you have to select a 4 hour window of time to be home. Now mind you we didn't realize all of these things were broken right away which caused us to have to create numerous work orders. Now you would think that after you create a work order and they come it's done right? Wrong! They come to look, then they come a different day to look again, and then a different day to do some of the work, and then a different day to do more work. It took them SEVEN trips to fix the leaking pipe. That is seven days I had to set 4 hours aside and that was just one of the problems. I have tried to contact every person at invitation homes to try and break my lease. I heard absolutely NOTHING from them until I decided to make a claim against them with the Better Business Bureau. This probably won't come as a huge shock but they had over 600 complaints with the BBB. I finally heard from someone after I filed my complaint. She promised e up and down they were going to bend over backwards to fix everything wrong and they would accommodate my schedule, this and that, and they haven't done a damn thing. They've harassed me to schedule another appointment but have no notes stating they will work with my schedule and will accommodate me. Every time I ask for my security deposit back and beg them to let me move out they dodge the question or ignore me all together. If you value your time and sanity DO NOT USE INVITATION HOMES!!!!!!
