  • Toronto is so lucky to have Soma call the city home! This very lovely outpost is an amazing cafe and showroom to the many delicious offerings that Soma creates daily. The drinking chocolate was beyond my wildest expectations and would satiate even the most extreme of chocoholics. The chocolate bars, twigs, and truffles are made with impeccable ingredients and exact craftsmanship. I'd be remiss if I didn't call attention to the amaretti cookies they sell here - easily the best tea cookie I've ever had. Crunchy on the outside with a nice spongy interior and a hint of rum...I couldn't replicate if I tried, and I have. Note to bakers: please make sure you pick up the baking cocoa offered here. It's $12 for a jar and is leaps and bounds above anything offered in the grocery stores - I made chocolate hazelnut biscotti with it and had great success with a deep, developed chocolate flavor. One of my favorite places in Toronto, don't miss it!
