  • Let's face it, does Starbucks and its army of addicted caffeine zombies really give a Frap what I think? Of course not, but regardless, here's my take on this unique location... Once again, I find myself agreeing with fellow Yelper and friend Michael W... This Blakeney Starbucks location has been consistently slow, in each of my half dozen or so visits. Heck after driving around endlessly in the Blakeney's parking lot maze in search of a parking space, one should expect better. I have no qualms with service otherwise, and the location is supreme and has a great seating area out back (once you finally get your drink). Coffee-wise? Bah Humbug! A Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks. Although not a hater, I do consider their coffee to be harsh in general, and I miss the little mom and pop coffee shops that they have driven out (which sounds weird hearing myself write, being that it is one of the few things my 22 year old daughter agree upon.) Despite all this,, I still give it 3 stars (one star higher than normal) just for the ambiance of the patios, and what the heck, while I'm here I might as well grab a latte...
