I went in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday so they weren't very busy. When I walked in, I initially asked for a gel manicure and pedicure. When the lady went to do my finger nails, I was explaining to her that I wanted tips on them to make them longer. We went back and forth so that she understood what I was talking about. And she said ok. She started giving me my manicure and I had a feeling that maybe she didn't understand what I was asking for. So I attempted to clarify it again. The head lady then tells me rudely that because I INITIALLY asked for a gel manicure when I walked in, that's what I was getting. If I wanted a full set then that is what I need to say. Apparently whatever you say the second you walk through that door is written in stone. My manicurist sat back all grumpily and discussed this chaos I created. And then the main lady tells me that I'm still going to have to pay for that manicure. I have no problem paying for the services I receive, however, I attempted to tell my manicurist what I wanted. I assumed when she said ok that she understood! At this point they just made me feel uncomfortable. I told them to forget it and just give me my gel manicure so I could leave. I was completely polite and non demanding, however I used the wrong nail shop lingo. They lack customer service and I will not be returning.
