I am a doctoral student in Pittsburgh and have stayed in several hotels throughout the area. The Cambria was amazing. By far, it is my favorite. The room was very clean, it has a separate sitting area with a desk/office area, which was great for concentrating on homework. I did eat breakfast in their restaurant daily, and the food and service were very good. It's close to many local restaurants (e.g. Friday's) and is attached to the Penguins arena. There is a hair salon in the office complex next to the hotel. They have a small commissary area, but be prepared to spend $5 for a bottle of water that you can find in local pharmacies for $1. They have a bar and it was nice to be able to bring a Corona up to the room after a long day. It gets a little (perhaps a lot) rowdy on nights when the Pens are playing, but people seemed respectful and I didn't feel my safety was compromised. I will definitely stay there during my future trips to Duquesne.
