  • Located between the Flamingo casino and Margaritaville restaurant, in the Margaritaville Casino. This space used to house the Flamingo steakhouse way back in the day but they revamped it and turned it into Margaritaville Casino and 5 O'clock Somewhere Bar. The bar is small, but there is an outdoor patio for great people watching. Bartenders are entertainers, they will flair, they will blow whistles, and you may even get confetti if leave a large tip! The vibe is laid back, fun, and entertaining, until 5pm when their famous $0.05 draft beer happy hour starts. The fun stops for an hour as people stand in line like they're waiting for a $1,000 check! It's a 5 cent Miller Lite draft! There is a 2 beer limit per person and if you're ordering for a group, your entire group has to be AT the bar with you. Now, let's talk customer service for a bit because the way people were behaving waiting for beer or after receiving beer was appalling. When you dine somewhere and have a coupon, do you tip based on the discount or the price before the discount? Standard policy in the service industry is to tip prior to the discount, so just because these beers are $0.05 and you leave them a quarter for two beers and their tip, doesn't mean they're going to rush over to you when you finish that small cup of beer next time. After reading the reviews,we got there early to find bar space, hit the bartender (billy) up with a $10 bill, and got beers immediately when happy hour started. In fact, the bar staff is incredibly aware of patrons at the bar and how close they were to finishing their drinks, and we had refills before we ran out. It's a five cent beer people, anywhere else you go in Vegas, you're going to pay $7+ for one beer, so tipping them $2.00 for each round is really not going to break the bank if you want to continue getting beers. Billy and the rest of the bar staff was friendly, fun, and always on top of our needs. What a fun place! Definitely be back!
