As someone with serious allergies to nuts (but not peanuts or almonds) I have to be careful where I eat and what I order. This is my responsibility. It should be reasonable for staff to help me make an informed decision, or so you would think. I wanted to determine if the "praline" hot chocolate--the only type of hot chocolate they serve--really had nuts in it. The barrista made a heavy sigh, said she didn't know and sluggishly tried to find the ingredient listing. When she couldn't find it she asked for some help and another employee, moving like mollases, looked for the Chocolate mix container and couldn't find it. A long line was forming. The barrista abrubtly asked the woman behind me what she wanted. "A regular Coffee", she replied. "I KNEW you had a simple order", the barrista replied back. I felt humilated and unwelcome. I wasn't trying to be a prima-donna, I just wanted to be safe. Incidentially, after the woman behind me was served it was determined the hot chocolate was made with hazlenuts.
I will never return there.
