| - Went here on a Saturday night on July 4th weekend. Reservations were fairly easy to make. When we got there we were seated quickly. Water was served and they gave us iPad menus for drinks.
We actually got served by 4 waiters that night, there were different people checking up on us and we never had to ask for a thing. Everyone was really friendly, talkative and the staff was not overbearing. I asked a waiter where the bathroom was and he actually walked me to the corridor. I've never had that happen before!
The waiter suggested that we order the summer chefs tasting menu... The domestic wagu option was 155 per person. This was really pricey but he said it came with appetizers, Meats, sides and dessert. He said it was a really good deal and between the five of us, we should order 4 and it will be enough food to feed all of us ( it was me, and five hungry boys).
Since we ordered four tasting menus, we got 4 of each course. The appetizers were shrimp cocktail, frisée salad, Cesar salad, and prosciutto. Everything was really good! The frisée salad was a little heavy on the blue cheese side, and the Cesar salad could have had a little more dressing but the prosciutto and shrimp were delicious!!
For the meats, we had the Ribeye, filet mignon, hanger steak and ny strip. The meats were cooked to a perfect medium rare. I actually liked that they cut it up for us because it was easier to share. I also liked the variety because you don't get tired of one cut, or one texture. The hanger steak was actually my favorite!! It was juicy, salty and meaty. The sides that came were asparagus, mushroom medley, mushroom risotto and puréed potatoes. I loved all the sides! They added nice flavor profiles and a change of taste. The potatoes were extremely creamy and the mushrooms maintained their earthy taste and texture. The five of us could barely finished. We were sooooooo stuffed
Finally came four desserts, sorbets of he day, banana bread pudding, chocolate mousse cake and panna cotta. Loved the bread pudding and panna cotta. The chocolate was super rich and dense. Not my favorite because I'm not a chocolate girl.
Overall it was a delicious meal with great friendly service. Be prepared to pay for a lot!! We ordered coffee which was not included and that was not worth the price. But all and all a great experience!
If you go you should ask if you can choose the courses served. Because everything came and I'm not sure if it was a set menu or not. Also I'm not sure how it would be for two people. I think with more people you can taste a variety more and order less!
