| - This is the most efficient Starbucks I've ever been to -- in any city. (OK -- the staff at any NYC Starbucks tends to work quite expeditiously :) It makes the ol' BA in Economics in me proud.
Despite the heavy customer traffic, this Starbucks staff not only moves swiftly, but it is also really friendly. (Kindness and speedy service? Usually the twain never meet!)
Not surprisingly, this Starbucks serves Starbucks coffee, which I happen to find quite delicious. As you likely know, the Starbucks house blend -- Pike Place -- is only $1.50 for a tall (small) serving. This price is better than most competitors, local or national.
This location's clientele is truly unique...and really entertaining. Located at the heart of the Cleveland Clinic's main social and dining region, Starbucks is nearly always teeming with healthcare providers: world class doctors, NPs, RNs, and so forth. Everyone stops by for a cup of java, always discussing really neat clinical things. (Never any patient information, of course. HIPAA, hellllloo!) It's fun sitting next to random, stressed-out surgeons -- who've clearly just finished some operation or another -- while dissecting your own delicious marble pound cake!
My only regret is that there is limited seating, despite the fact that this is a full service Starbucks. (Even this problem is ameliorated by the proximity of the CC main dining room, located just around the corner.)
