  • We love Dr. Hammes and his assistant. They both obviously love animals and know how to care for them. We took our new puppy there for his initial shots and kept going back for the rest of the shots. A week ago Dr. Hammes neutered our puppy and he did a fantastic job. Our little boy never needed a cone, his stitches are internal and nothing about the incision site irritated him. The incision is healing very well, still no redness, no irritation. Dr. Hammes also microchipped our puppy and that was also handled perfectly. We initially chose Dr. Hammes because the space he moved his practice to at Alta and Buffalo was struggling to hold a business. Before he moved in, the windows were constantly being hit with rocks and there was a lot of graffiti on the walls. Since Dr. Hammes moved in the entire strip mall has improved and the vandalism has stopped. Not only is Dr. Hammes a great vet, he has also helped revitalize the neighborhood.
