1.) Like all the other reviewers, I've already spent at least $100 more than I thought I would. I tried to say no to the insurance because my credit card covers it, but i was told i HAD to purchase it. Low and behold I didn't. I thought pre-paying would help avoid some of the additional charges but I was very wrong.
2.) I got a bigger car then I reserved that didn't get as good of gas mileage and had a small tank. This means on my drive from LV to Reno I had to stop and fill up more often. Not a big deal but annoying none the less.
3.) According to the sticker on the front windshield, the oil should have been changed 2000 miles ago and this psyched me out. This is not my car, i should not be worrying about this.
4.) Terrible customer service. I've never rented a car before and had some questions and the dude that helped me (danny v. I think) was not friendly, helpful or engaging at all. I don't think anyone smiled one time, ever. Just rude, impatient employees. Drop-off was better but there are WAY to many people working there for no one to greet you when you walk in..
5.) I left some clothes and blankets in the backseat and now they smell like stale cigarettes. This normally wouldn't bug me at all, except I was very firmly warned not to smoke in the car at least 3 times when I picked it up. Clearly other renters didn't get that memo and I feel a little singled out. I don't smoke and no one else would be in the car (which i told him the first time he warned me), no need to tell me multiple times. Maybe if everyone got singled out this wouldn't be an issue..
Had I read the reviews beforehand I would have chosen a different company, my experience was very similar to all the other reviewers. Never again.
