rev:text	Everyone does deserve second chances as did the Delano and while it wasn't an ideal stay (thanks again to a less than pleasant front desk clerk again) it was a step in the right direction so I'm rating 4 stars overall as I feel that's fair to Delano. As I mentioned when checking in I did encounter another round of attitude, but I went in expecting it and not let it ruin my trip. From the time I walked up to check in she just gave the impression that she had wished to be somewhere else which was a let down to me once again, but this trip at least showed me not all staff is like her and the two from my previous stay. The current associate forgot to tell me that on the second day my card would deactivate (I had a room for back to back nights combined) and that was a bit frustrating after returning to the room and not being able to get in. I did want to commend a gentleman by the name of Rolando I believe who was in the check in desk as I found out for noir and platinum guests who still assisted me without hesitation and got us on our way. Now THAT was customer service! I will certainly come back in the near future, as Delano to me is a Vdara like environment which I adore and I like being away from the smoke and crowds at times. I really hope the front check in experience improves, but there are too many other pluses (strip location, great restaurant variety, ease of entry, pleasant valet service) here to make me concentrate less on the negatives any longer!
