One of the most amazing things about this place is the intense history of it from the 70s and 80s - and the fact that it's still here.
The hay day of vinyl is long over, so it isn't shocking that their vinyl collection isn't in perfect shape. Nor is it surprising how much they charge for them given that Coventry is very much associated with hipsters these days - as is vinyl, and we all know that anything "hipster" is automatically more expensive.
However, they do have a nice collection of band/artist shirts. Inventory doesn't seem to change much in that regard, but they also have a decent collection of thrift clothes, shoes, and handbags. Smoking and hookah materials line the walls and take up a good chunk of real estate in the glass cases. They also offer a decent selection of jewelry and tickets to events at the Grog shop.
The shop is clean and everyone who I've ever talked to who worked there is very laid back and open to having a good conversation with you about music and all sorts of things. It's definitely a great place to stop by and check out!
