  • So... I have been really hesitant to get my nails done in Pittsburgh... mostly because of the mediocre reviews of many places. I finally picked this one, kind of on a whim and partly because it had better reviews. I made an appointment mayber 1.5 hours ahead of time for a french pedi and a gel mani. I was really concerned about the possible parking situation... only to find that it has great parking in that little plaza on S. Highland (major brownie points). I walked in and was immediately acknowledged and told it would be a few minutes. I sat down in the waiting area and looked through nail color options ( of which there was quite a selection). I was promptly taken back for the pedicure. The massaging seats were nice ( and I have a bad back so thats saying something) and the pedicure stations clean with warm/ hot water. My nail tech did an excellent job on the french pedi. Honestly, her technique was flawless with a single stroke of the white nail polish in a beautiful arc and a bit of touch up. The gel manicure was likewise amazing. I chose a dark blue/green/black sparkly color (#52 i think). Again the same technition took her time, fixed up my nail situation ( I had been cleaning the day before chipped a ton of nails ruined cuticles etc), and applied the gel in an expert manner. Its been about a week and despite intense handwashing, travel, etc the nail polish is unchipped and looks amazing. 100% i would go back... and as of now this is the only place I'd recommend without reservation in Pitt.
