I was a little bit disappointed with no seating as I would have guess there would be at least couple of table with several seats. The space was really tight, making me feel a little claustrophobic. However, this place has no seating at all. It was really awkward when I tried to eat at one of the tables standing up.
The decor was nicely done with different shades of white and different textures of different sections of the bakery. There are some live plants to brighten up the place which I really liked. The music was light jazz. There were not that many sweet options to choose from as many are savoury options.
The servers were quite friendly. I ordered the salmon croissant with cream cheese and dill which was quite nice with flaky and buttery croissant base. The London fog was a little bite too sweet for my taste, but the flavour was pretty nice. It was quite a long wait for the barista to finish the drink though, I think it took more than 5 minutes as I was looking around for bit before my drink was ready.
I hope Butter Baker would need to re-position their space to accomodate for some seatings or offer an unique item to attract the crowd fod breakfast, lunch or brunch. Otherwise, it maybe hard to complete with Japanese Pablo which is its next door neighbour or Uncle Tetsu which offers seating options. But, that''s just my opinions.
