UPDATE: Parker & Sons called to offer an accommodation of $200 refund after a long conversation. It's been 2 weeks now and we've never received it. All of our previous caveats remain + it's clear you can't trust a thing they tell you.
------
Parker & Sons came to my residence when our hot water heater broke down. They never gave an estimate for the cost. The water heater was about $400 at Home Depot but Parker Brothers charged almost $1,300.
I spoke with Angie about getting an itemized receipt for that extra $900 when it only took about 100 minutes for them to install it.
Instead of facing our complaints, Angie continues to pull strings to have my reviews removed. She claims there's no answering machine here at our home, which is untrue.
Trust me, heed all of the negative reviews here. They've been squarely EARNED. Despite physically being present while Parker & Sons performed the work and despite having direct discussions about the bill with Angie (therefore this is a direct experience with their company and satisfies Yelp review requirements), Parker & Sons pulls strings at Yelp due to being a paying Yelp advertiser and has my legitimate reviews pulled.
We are filing a complaint with the ROC and if you've been a Parker & Sons victim, message me. I'm happy to help explain the process to you. I offer this because Angie continues to remove my reviews. Each time my legitimate review is taken down, I will exercising my free speech as a result, here or elsewhere. That's a promise. Perhaps a video is in order... Sadly, Parker & Sons would rather play games behind the scenes and fib publicly than simply address a legit complaint.
