Deck seating during Happy Hour gets a big thumbs up from me. I personally prefer the frozen cosmo without chambord--it's sweet enough. At three bucks during Happy Hour, I don't care that the frozen cosmo looks ultra girly pink. I also had an East End smoked beer, that was completely vegetarian, even though it might not have tasted that way.
The food's decent here. The pasta in the macaroni and cheese was cooked perfectly--not too mushy. The sauce was rich, though I might have liked some toasted breadcrumbs for a crunchy contrast. The bread that came with the spinach dip, though, was too hard. The food is more three-star worthy, but the deck and Happy Hour drink specials bump the overall rating to four.
I can't complain about the service here. They treated us fine even though we were a large group, and you know how large groups can be kind of pesky because we're not terribly coordinated when it comes to ordering and all that. They even gave us separate checks without complaint. The gratuity was already included, which was okay by me--it's just a lot more convenient having my own bill instead of trying to figure out my share from one communal bill.
Gentlemen, I'm told the urinals in the men's room are "interesting."
