| - Obviously this club is cool in that they have a great pool setting and a cool atmosphere, but when we dig deeper this club is not that great depending on the night you visit, how busy it is in Vegas when you visit,or if your a boy or a girl (hot).
So here is my experience on a busy saturday night:
1) Get in line boys. There are two large rooms off the corridor that they keep hundreds of people lined up like cattle, which in reality is unnecessary (More later). The waiting rooms are hot (temperature hot) and the uninitiated have no idea how long the wait is because after zig zagging thru one room you think hey we are there , but no there is one other room to navigate..
2) The wait on a busy night is about 1 hr plus, such a buzz killer and makes you think why bother....yawn (Is it really that cool?). As you get to the second room in line, the bouncer offers quick entry for a big fee. Normal entry is 50 dollars for guys on Saturday, the bouncer will offer to let you skip this last room for a fee of 20 to 50 dollars. So if your willing to pay 100 dollars to get in then you can skip the last 30 to 45 mins of the line.
3) Now you wait and wait and get near the place we pay. The line comes to an almost grinding halt the closer you get, because all the hot girls or people on the list always take preference. Now I am at the front of the line. I am looking at 4 ladies waiting to take my money but the bouncers or staff controlling the line keep us like cattle in line with a closed gate ??. I have my fifty dollars waiting, the women staff are waiting to take my money but the bouncers have the gate closed. WTF. The reality is (THE WAIT IS ARTIFICIAL), and is made to make us pay early in the line to skip this miserable wait. Pretty stupid because if they really made an efficient process we would be spending money in the club on drinks in the club. The price to get in the club is $50 for guys , $20 for girls.
4) So now we get in and this last weekend was very busy in Vegas. The place is wall to wall people. Not enough room to just stand , let alone dance. So we go out to the pool area. Wow, again so busy its wall to wall to wall people. We get a drink, ha now four deep at the bar and another 20 minute wait to buy overpriced drinks. Last night a beer was $10 instead of $8 the week before. The price changes depending on demand (Unethical).
5) Hey, now after one and a half hrs we are in the club, with a drink in our hand. So we scan the ladies. Guys XS women are very variable, much depends on the night you go. In the week they have more Euro vacationers. Last night a high percentage of women were pretty sketchy (LA crowd) . Wow did we really pay all this money, wait all this time to find the place crazy busy with no where to relax, and to find the women are much better looking in the street and in the hotel and hotel bars. Too many trashy people gives the club a bad vibe, and gave me the impression of why did I do this. I am a sucker coming here. Simply not worth the trouble.
So unless you a female that is hot and you get in for free and get free drinks from the drooling guys my vote is forget it. Guys you can find better women in the street and hotel for free, without this stupid chaos of clubbing.
XS needs to be much more selective in who they let in and they need to stop trying to flees us with artificial long lines, with the incentive of frustrating us so we pay the bouncer to skip the line.
I have had good nights at XS, but last night was a complete rip.. Buyer beware..The club owners are just greedy, and have no care as to our experience. We are just objects with an ATM card.
