I'm pretty sure the traditional method of trick or treating is fading where you go to strangers houses and eat drug laced candies or crossing the street to head to the next house just to get ran over by a car. That's why many trunk or treat or places like Town Square and Springs Preserve hold their own safe trick or treating events.
If you have been to Springs Preserve annual beer/wine charity event called Grapes and Hops then this is what you have. But swap out the booze and food for candy stations. The main area in front of the stage has numerous gaming booths while there are dozens of tables spread throughout Springs Preserve manned by volunteers waiting to give you some candy.
I got the vibe that the target audience here is for families with youngin's. The place isn't scary at all so start them young.
