  • I recently enjoyed a Hydra facial, teeth whiting treatment as well as the Red Light therapy at the Beauty Bar, as my regular spa was completely booked and I needed a facial in preparation for my 40th birthday. The staff were very supportive, caring and kind. I was very lucky to squeeze into an appointment that had recently opened up. I arrived about 10-15 minutes prior to my appointment to fill out all of the paperwork. Everything was done electronically, which I really liked! The location is great, with GREEN P parking available within walking distance. After I finished the paper work, they took me in right away for my facial. I liked the lay out of the room, it was posh and spa like. The lights were dim (with expectation of the lighting that Nurse Brittney used to do my hydra facial) it was very open concept with terry cloth robes and a comfy facial bed. Usually I find facials uncomfortable... knowing the professional doing the facial is seeing all of the buildup of dirt and oils coming from my skin, I find it a little embarrassing. But the hydra facial wasn't like any facial I've ever had before. It was pain free and just relaxing!! And my skin looked radiant when it was done. I loved it!!!! After the facial, I had the Red Light Therapy. At first I felt like I was going into a stand up-tanning booth, and I wasn't sure how I felt about it. The nurse said it would be good for my skin as well to reduce stress, so I decided to try it!! Who doesn't want to reduce stress!?!?! After I finished the Red Light therapy, I wasn't sure what I would feel, if anything. But I was totally on cloud 9!!! I had so much confidence and happiness, I felt like I was in my 20's again! Ha ha (a girl can dream!) Following the Red Light Therapy, I had the Teeth Whiting. I was very impressed!!! I have pretty white teeth but this took them to another level! I felt like a celebrity! What I loved most about it was it worked on my veneers. Overall my experience at the Beauty Bar was AMAZING!!!
