Yum, yum, yum! I haven't had Filipino in forever but a friend asked me to go. I found this place on Yelp and had to try it. It doubles as a bakery so there's plenty to choose from. Don't let the generic strip mall exterior deter you. Very friendly service and you can tell the place becomes a karaoke bar at certain times. The owner came and talked to us a few times and she enjoyed that we knew a bit about Filipino food already. Not sure about the one review that says they people running it didn't look Filipino but when we were there, they definitely were.
Anyway, I had the kare kare which the owner recommended. Was delicious especially with the shrimp brine dip. Yum!! So good especially with the garlic rice. Friend had the lechon kawali, which was so delicious and tender!! Great food we had here. We would have finished off with Halo Halos if we weren't so full. Would definitely recommend the place to Filipinos and non-Filipinos alike!
