rev:text	After having the same exact hair cut for 15+ years and a lifetime of never dying my hair, I just woke up one morning in December and decided it was time for a change! I was going to go... purple and pink?!? Actually, I didn't decide on a color right then but I knew I wanted something fun and vibrant. I took to Instagram to investigate local stylists and discovered Candace (@grrlyousilly and @bohemianstylehouse). I knew immediately I'd found "the one." I sent a text to schedule an appointment and was disappointed when she responded that she wasn't taking new clients until March. I decided to wait it out and boy, was it worth it! Candace took the time to get to know me and my lifestyle. She gave me a great cut/trim while we chatted. I swear, I think she could have done it with her eyes closed. Then, came the color! After talking through what I was looking for (I didn't really give her much to work with, lots of, "Oh, I trust you's" and "Be creative's") and explaining that I'm notrorious for NOT keeping up with my hair (I'll go 3+ months between cuts typically) she absolutely nailed the color. She added beautiful and spunky pink and purple to the bottom layer of my hair so it peeks out just enough for you to see it but not so much that you're like, "Wow! That chick has hot pink/purple hair!" It looks awesome down, it looks great pulled up. I'm totally in love! And, added bonus... Because it's kind of hidden underneath, I won't have to worry too much about it growing out or fading some until my next visit in June. I'm so happy to have discovered Candace and Bohemian Style House and can't wait to experiment with new styles and colors on future visits!
