  • Ten starts on a scale of one to five. Warm hospitality, 1725 hotel that is well-equipped with modern fixings, ambiance that is so superlative that it defies description but the 2' stone walls help, a breakfast fit for a king and queen, as is the dining room itself, spacious bedrooms that are so magical that you can't stop taking photos of them, FREE parking at the hotel's parking lot adjacent (worth its weight in gold in Old Montreal) and a FREE breakfast that includes everything you could dream of and more. Very nice people. Fireplace in bedroom and adjacent fireplaced sitting room. Cannot wait to return. Best bet: book out of season and on a weekday for incredibly reasonable rates. It is the #1 best hotel we have ever stayed in.
