I finally made it to the farmers market!
My goal was to find some fresh fruit & veggies . Unfortunately the fruit was very limited and same with the veggies. :(
Not a whole lot of booths set up and that was disappointing.
We proceeded on and came across some honey which was really good!! Both gentlemen at two different booths were extremely friendly and very informative. Neither one was pushy and that was appreciated.
Really unique candles with all natural ingredients were made by a very sweet lady. Her father actually hand makes some really awesome holders that are made from real tree logs!! They are about 4-6 inches tall and so pretty!! This was a very cool find because I absolutely love unique items! A must see if you get a chance.
Moving on- We also purchased some candy bars (crispy chocolate) sold by parents of a Becker middle school child raising money for an event. We have been there, done that, so it was just nice to give back!
Finally we happened upon our last stop, which lead us to yet another nice woman. She had fresh moist banana nut bread, pumpkin, pumpkin walnut, and a few others. Mmm!!! At $4.00 a mini loaf it wasn't too bad considering the time, work involved, plus the setting up at the farmers market etc. It was delicious too!
I recommend the Farmers Market. I will be back. Although small, it's worth a stop for unique finds and to support someones business-passions. Enjoy!! :)
