Still in search for a good non-chain barbecue joint after this place. We ordered beef brisket, mac n cheese, okra, peach cobbler, banana pudding, collars greens, beans.
The mac n cheese was the highlight of the meal consisting of cheesy creamy goodness. The brisket was dry and bland. It was more of a "sauce show," which is where the flavor originated. Desserts and fried foods were good. Unfortunately, we couldn't try the pulled pork. The cashier said "she" (I'm assuming the owner?) didn't throw any on the pit that morning. Only taking cash that day because the machine was out for repair, we also had to run and get $60 from the ATM for the $47 bill.
