| - My first time here. Came with a group of 10 people for my friend's birthday. Almost passed it driving by when I got off of the freeway!
The décor is cute. This is a really tiny hole in the wall, Louisiana themed. I was told by a friend their other location is noticeably bigger.
My friend ordered the garlic bread and crab & artichoke dip for an appetizer. The bread was really tasty, and I only had one bite of the crab dip, but I would definitely order some for myself next time. I had been eyeing the crawpuppies on the menu, but didn't order them right away. I saw someone else at the table had, so I did eventually order them. They were really good! There is a tiny hint of spice, and they were soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside. Yum.
I ordered the crab cake dinner for my meal. It's two crab cakes on top of lettuce with some sort of dressing. It was in the shape of two "Ls". Pretty basic. They were tasty, but could have used something else. Not sure what. It didn't come with anything, so I ordered a side of coleslaw, since I love coleslaw. The coleslaw was pretty good.
My friend ordered the crawfish. He is from Louisiana, and he said it reminded him of home. He ate the whole 2 pounds! It came with 2 potatoes and 2 pieces of corn. It smelled really flavorful.
I'm not sure why other reviews say the servers are creepy. We had a really nice lady with a broken foot, and she still kicked ass. I liked this place!
