| - I've been here twice, once in January to use up a giftcard and again today.
Would I recommend? Yes, I think this is a good hair salon and educators are always walking around and watching their students. I have easy to cut hair, it's long and straight and I haven't done anything drastic to it here so if you are also like me than I think this is a great place to go.
The first time I would have easily given this place 5 stars, I had such a great experience. My hair stylist, Carly, understood where I was coming from (growing out a bad haircut) and where I wanted to go (to have it trimmed and my layers recut, but keeping some of the length so I could cut again when it grew out more). The educator was there to make the first cut, but periodically walked around to check how we were doing. I don't colour treat or heat style my hair, so I don't spend a ton of money on hair products and my stylist didn't try and push me to buy products. I loved it, I thought she was awesome and I left a larger tip than I normally would because of it.
Today was slightly less impressive, my stylist had different ideas about what would look good on my hair than what I did, but that's fine. I just got a trim and long layers and it took about an hour and a half. My stylist wasn't very friendly, so to sit there for an hour and a half in silence for most of it was awkward for me. I prefer casual talking to help pass time, but that's just me and it does depend on the student so take it for what it is.
I would go back for my next haircut and hope for a friendlier stylist.
