  • Just popped in here after weeks and weeks of being taunted with the thought of a Jeni's-esque ice cream shop, with the hope that it wouldn't be as severely, grotesquely overpriced as the aforementioned Jeni's. I am delighted to say that Churned has delivered on both of these fronts. They were super excited to have us try all the flavors and explain each one. I ended up having a small scoop comprised of the Smoked Chocolate Salted Almond Bark and Cocoa-Puffs and my fiancee had cocoa-puffs and cap'n crunch! Special mention needs to be made of THIS Cap'n Crunch not cutting up your mouth when you eat it! By the way, two small cups costs 6.50. Smack in the middle of what I would expect ice cream to cost. It's a perfect balance of great taste, friendly service, and practical pricing structures. Absolutely excellent. Next time we're in Tremont I'll be having the bacon caramel french toast!
