| - OK, I *really* wish I'd discovered this place sooner! My advice? Go early. I went on a Friday evening around 6:30 or so and the crowd was still fairly thin, so we had our pick of pool tables. There were a few TGIFers around, but other than that, we owned the place!
The space is large, open, comfortable and loungey - I loved the leather couches everywhere by the tables, and the ambiance was great. There are plenty of different sections in the interior, from the cocktail tables at the front, to the high bench beer tables poolside, to the little restaurant area at the back.
Nice selection of yummy pub fare, like grilled cheeses and burgers, as well as wings and nachos - and these are high end, as far as pub fare goes - no limp, greasy nothin' going on here! A small but good beer selection as well - I always go for the IPA, if I'm in a beer mood.
You pay a $20 deposit when you check in, and your pool tab comes out of it when you leave - no fuss. It's just over $8/hr for as much pool as you can handle. If you're into foosball, they've got tables for you, back in the dork corner (just kidding).
PS - Yes, I kicked ass at pool that night. A rare delight.
