Most random area that I was in but I had to find a place where a bunch of friends could sit and work for a bit. It was really that I needed coffee and something small to eat as I didn't have breakfast yet. Of course, I turned to Yelp for help and this place popped up as the closest.
The interior is pretty cosy and a couple of tables for sitting and a nice comfy couch right near the entrance. My friends and I had coffee's and I decided to try the scone that other reviews said were delish. I opted to add the cream and jam to my scone and that really hit the spot. I was really hungry so the scone and clotted cream combo was absolutely heaven. But on any other given day, would I have thought the scone and jam-from-a-jar to be really yummy? Who knows...
We ended up sitting here for an hour and a bit and no one bothered us...we were chatting away. On the entrance, I saw a sign that says "support your local coffee store" and I really liked that. This was soo not a Starbucks, but rather, a local joint. I saw many patrons filling up their coffee cups then leaving, and also, mothers with kids and strollers stopping by to have a bite and chat. The atmosphere was so local and friendly...and for that, I am a total fan of the this place.
