  • A solid 3-star-er! Do I care about the ancient wallpaper in the hallways? The sweet wallpaper border in our room? The slightly off scent of the towels? Heck, no! The bed was comfortable as anything I've ever slept on hotel-wise, there was a nice medium size fridge in the room, and....a big cup full of GOOD candy. I've never seen that at any hotel I've ever checked in to! Reese's, Peanut M&Ms and etc...not sure who decided to do that or why, but HELL YES! We were also offered plenty of bottled water on check-in, which was a nice touch. We used this as base camp for a kayak trip, and I was pleasantly surprised, especially because it was very cheap.
