They cancelled my room and did not notified me either via email or phone. I showed up at hotel after 4 hours of delayed flight and with 5 year old and 65+ parents jut to know that they can not take us. This is despite of me calling them of delayed flight and they confirming it.
Reasons? I was scheduled to arrive hotel by 9 pm. Flight got delayed and I reached there at 2:30 am. Before that I called them at 7 pm to let them know that my flight is delayed and I will come around 2 am. They even confirmed that I have reservation and made a late arrival note. They did not wait for me and went ahead and charged my card (which is fine with me as it is as per their rule) Unfortunatlly my credit card (which I have on file of expedia) has raised fraud alert and declined it. They immediatly cancelled my room without even calling me or notifying via email ( and probably happily gave away room at double price to another guest).
I can not expect this kind of treatment from Best western.
