| - Obsessed. I would watch this over and over again in a heartbeat.
For those who have any kind of musical, singing and/or dance background....you will enjoy this tremendously. Although my boyfriend who cannot be any further away from any kind of performing arts life enjoyed it a lot more than he thought. The show is an hour and a half but it literally felt like an hour. This is at The Encore Theater. Conveniently close by to the guest parking garage.
There is no intermission but each number moves pretty quickly. No doubt these performers are talented. The general public may not understand how difficult it is to dance with a group. Everyone have to be completely in-sync with one another. My dance teacher would say if a photo was taken of us during our kickline.....our legs better all be at the same height and angle. And if you've seen any photos of these dancers in mid-dance....they are polished as heck! Costumes are gorgeous as well as the backdrops.
They perform a lot of songs the general public will be familiar with. You're the One That I Want, Money, Money, Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better, New York New York, Luck Be a Lady and my personal favorites: Cell Block Tango, All That Jazz and the famous One from The Chorus Line. (*~ohhhh those wonderful dance memories came rushing back!!~*)
Sadly, the show is schedule to end by the end of the year (late Dec 2016). I don't know why....this is such a great, high energy Vegas type entertainment. If you're interested, get your tickets while you can. We sat 9 rows from the front, right side orchestra. Great seats. The further, the better. You want to be able to see the general stage/performance aspect.
