Horrible Food and Mediocre Service is what I can say to describe my most recent experience after visiting The Maharaja.
I am truly disappointed at the food I had during my visit. Gone were the days where the food here was nothing short of amazing and seeing how far down the service has gone is saddening also.
During my visit I had the Dum Biryanni and Chicken Tikka Masala (It goes by another name, but I forgot the name). Had you asked me previously, I would've told you to try it regardless of the price since the taste is so worth it. Now I would say to stay away from this place as the food they produce is not worth it at all!
While the service is still "good" for an Indian restaurant, it is nothing like what it used to by initially. While the staff is trained very well with the menu offerings, the "finesse" that you'd expect from an upscale restaurant isn't present at all anymore.
Needless to say I would sadly have to recommend to skip this place if you're looking for a good Indian spot.
