| - I had to knock off a star for the 45 minute wait. Otherwise, the staff and ice cream was great.
I highly recommend if you want a unique flavor or are interested in building your own. If you want a normal cookies and cream ice cream, you're better off elsewhere.
Ordering process:
They have a TV menu board that you will get super familiar with while waiting in line. Its $5.49 for a small and $5.99 for a large. 50 cents for each additional topping. The sizing difference is pretty big and you're better off getting the large if you have to wait in line.
Once you reach the front of the line, everyone in your group goes to a station. One person takes care of your entire group. Sounds pretty cool, HOWEVER, THERE IS A MAJOR FLAW WITH THIS.
Each ice cream takes about 2 minutes and 30 seconds depending on what you are adding in. We had 4 orders and by the time we got the last ice cream and was ready to pay, the first 2 ice creams were already half eaten (they started to melt while we were waiting for the other ice creams) the second to the last was about 1/4 way in and the last person ended up enjoying their ice cream on their own. (which kind of defeats the purpose of going out for ice cream) Also, once they start to melt, it looks like normal ice cream.
NEXT TIME, we will go up to the stations one by one and order/pay separately. So that we can actually eat our ice cream together.
Oh, there isn't really a seating area, so you might end up standing around the parking lot eating your ice cream.
I'll go back, but only if the line is really short. Hopefully this location dies down a bit once the China Town location opens up.
