| - I've tried dropping off prescriptions, having the doctor phone them in, and transmitting it electronically. Whatever method you use, they will blame your selection for the slow service at the pharmacy.
I've phoned in refills via the automated attendant which is insistent on you providing a call-back number, only to show up at the agreed time to find out that they did not begin to fill the prescription because the pharmacist had a question. If only there was some way they could have reached me...
The drive-thru is even slower than going in to the store, and rest assured that all of your personal details will be given to another car, as they can't seem to figure out which intercom button is for which lane.
They seem like they are always busy with at least 3 people behind the counter, but I can't imagine that the bottle-neck really lies there, since putting a sticker on a jar, and counting 40 pills out couldn't take much more than a minute.
The lady who works the register seems very nice, but overworked, and overstressed. She simply can't keep up with two intercoms, and an internal register--but again, she is rarely the bottleneck, as usually the prescription simply isn't ready yet.
I've also never been offered a consultation for any sort of new medication, or been asked about other medicines to avoid contraindication.
