| - Last update: Melissa informed me that she is not responsible for the work on my eyebrows because Hope did them. I must concede that, indeed, Hope did microblade my eyebrows.
Melissa also informed me that my eyebrows we're stenciled before hand and I agreed to them (Melissa was not present at the appointment). This is also true. This process requires the technician to remove their markings to complete their process. You aren't allowed to monitor and can only try to judge by the pain location. After the process was done, I told Hope that I looked weird. It took days for me to figure out what was wrong. When I did, neither Melissa or Hope offered anything in the way of trying to remove the excess before it was too late. Over and over, I was told I was experiencing the "3 freakouts." After extensive research, I found that they could have easily done a saline treatment to remove the excess. But through and through, they refused continually to help me in any way and the owner has sent several emails trying to rationalize how she hasn't helped. Today, Melissa sent another email to guilt me because she interrupted her own dinner to "talk me down" and she cut another client short (so now two of her clients aren't getting the service they paid for) so she could see my eyebrows in person and yell at and interrupt me while I lay pronate on the table for her own examination. This situation is infinitely astounding. It's Melissa's world, we all just happen to be living in it.
She even went so far to say that I am free to apply retinol if I want (thanks for the permission that I never asked for?) but won't be able to ADD MORE TO THE BROWS if I do so. Thanks, but again, where do I get this retinol and I don't want to look even more like Red from Angry Birds?
One last statistic she threw at me. Using my own pictures, she compared my swollen, scabbed brows to my current ones and said they were 50% lighter. I'm sorry to say this, but that isn't a relevant statistic. She's comparing swelling and scabs to healed brows and she has no effective way to grade depth of color. Apples to oranges as they say...
My recommendation, stay away from this business. Hope is sweet but my brows are still messed up. On the other hand, the owner Melissa is going through her terrible two's or teething so her chubby, cherubim self can't be held responsible for her actions. If you're dead set on getting this done, I hear great things from L.A. professionals and they charge less.
