I popped into this nail salon a couple weeks ago for a pedicure. I didn't have an appointment, but I wasn't on a time-crunch and was willing to wait. I specifically chose this location because of how close it is to my home, and because they advertise that they accept walk-ins.
Upon entering the salons, I wasn't impressed. It seemed like your typical budget nail salon. There were two ladies seated with customers and no receptionist. Both the ladies waived their arms and motioned me to leave, claiming they were all booked for the day. Confused, I did a double-take and pointed at the "walk-ins welcome" sign.
"But... you accept walk-ins... I'm willing to wait. I just need a pedicure." I said.
"No, you come back tomorrow" one of the ladies said, still motioning me to leave.
So I did what they asked- I left. And never will return. I went to a nearby salon instead. What could have been handled professionally was not, and you lost my business in the process.
