| - I love Las Vegas Dermatology! I found the place using yelp when I lived in Las Vegas. They had great reviews and I thought to give them a try.
They are located in the beautiful Summerlin! They are in a large medical building on the 4th floor. I love that it's in large medical building! For some reason it makes it feel more authentic than just a small building.
Their office has expanded since the first time I went to him. The waiting room is comfortable and user friendly with lots of space. It can get busy in the waiting room because Dr. Greenberg is very popular. Even if it seems busy, Las Vegas Dermatology has enough exam rooms to accommodate everyone.
My first visit was for a mole check (I do them routinely) and for a keloid scar on the back of my leg. I went to a dermatologist in California and had a cyst removed. Unfortunately, where the cyst was removed, it turned into a very red, raised and sometimes itchy keloid scar. I wanted to see if Dr. Greenberg would have any suggestions on softening it or possibly removing it.
He was very careful when looking it over and was very nice. He explained to me that if he removes it, it'll be a bigger scar (because he'd have to cut around the keloid). He did assure me that the scar may be bigger, but it would be flat and would fade over time. I felt confident in him and thought as long as the scar is flat, I could always cover it up with make up. I scheduled an appointment for the removal of the scar.
Day of removal, the Dr and staff were very nice and helpful in explaining everything that was going to happen for the removal of my scar. From the sting from the numbing (it Stings!) as well as the stitching of the wound. It was all done in what felt like 25 mins. He is so fast and precise. They gave me directions on how to clean it and take care of it while it heals. I made a follow up appointment to get the stitches out.
Stitches removal! I was so happy to get the stitches out. Dr. Greenberg was very gentle at the removal and he examined the healing process. It was a clean heal with no infections. When I first saw it without the stitches, I was a little worried that I would have a new bump because that's how it looked after the first dermatologist I went to in CA. Dr. Greenberg assured me that the bumps on the ends will go down. He said he stitched it in a way that the scar will be flat.
Sure enough, my scar is now flat, white (kind of looks like a small stretch mark) and not itchy! It's so much better than a bump that I can't hide and if I ever get self conscience about it, I can always cover it up with makeup. I love his stitch work and would definitely go to him again if I ever have a scar I want fixed.
Since my first visits with Dr Greenburg, he is now my staple Dermatologist. Even being back in California, I will fly out specifically for him. His work is amazing! I've gone back to him for mole removals, brown spot removal and facials. I know he has specials on fillers and more cosmetic treatments, but I haven't tried any of those yet. When I do, I know I will be confident in him making me look and feel my best!
